Lies Women Believe: And the Truth that Sets Them Free

It sure has been warm and windy today!  I got another rose bush planted.  I can't wait to see how the yard will look after everything is grown in a little.  Will planted some watermelon, tomatoes, and cantaloupe.  I'm hoping to can some salsa this summer.  Only 5 more weeks of school.  The girls are really getting ready for it to be over.  That TAKS test takes all the fun out of it.  I don't blame them.  I can't believe Crosby is about to graduate!  His cap and gown and announcements will be in next week.  Where did the years go?  I hope we can have some fun this summer before he leaves.  I sure am going to miss him.  Kids aren't supposed to grow up so fast!

We had a nice Easter.  Lots of people at church.  He is risen!!!  I heard that Trinity church rented out the United Spirit Arena for their services! Wow! We went out to the ranch and Papa cooked out hamburgers that evening.  Tammy and Mark and Chad were there too.  It's so pretty out there.   The dogs are getting so big.  I think Sage is getting a little fat too.  Maybe he's a TINY bit spoiled!   Steven, we took lots of pictures and Crosby took a video for you.  It just isn't the same without you there.

Hey Steven!  I just made you a CD full of pictures.  We went to Idalou for William's basketball game today, but the coach had the wrong time.  He told us 4:00 and it was really 3:00, so our team forfeited.  That's the first game we've lost though, so that's not too bad.  The coach felt terrible about it.  Have you had a chance to try out your GPS?  Hope it works well for you.  I guess the real test will be Korea and Thailand.  Miss you!!

Hey Reece!  Thanks for the comment.  Steven talked me into setting this up.  It's kind of fun.  It's good to hear from you.  I miss hearing about all of Steven's friends.  Maybe I can see you all when he comes home in January.  I sure am looking forward to seeing him.  He's been gone almost 7 months!

Steven, thanks for the comment!  I had almost forgotten I had this thing.  I had a PTA board meeting today.  We are gearing up for Fall Festival.  The only thing I don't like about being president is having to listen to everyone's complaints.  Yuck!  I'm glad you aren't going to Pakistan after all.  I would hate not being able to email or talk on the phone.  Crosby had his first pool function Saturday.  I think he enjoyed it.  He's wanting to talk to you about a guitar purchase.   He's having a hard time making up his mind what he wants.  Julia graduates from Bootcamp tomorrow and we are invited to her surprise party Saturday.  Cros and I are going to go.  I'm looking forward to seeing her and to meeting her parents.  I've talked to her mom on the phone and emailed, but we have never met.  Did you get the package I sent?  Are you still going to Okinawa?  Call soon!  Love you!

I have had a busy Saturday!  I helped with that wedding shower for Becky's son.  We got everything set up and decorated, then had the shower, then stayed to clean up.  I have been gone all ofternoon and I am TIRED!  Standing up all day in high heels is exhausting!   Plus those dang showers are expensive!  I also got to meet Deborah's son the warrant officer.  It was nice to meet him.

Steven, I told him thanks for sending you that letter when you graduated from boot.  I think I told you this already, but he will be with 1st MAW in Okinawa.  I sure will miss talking to you while you are gone to Fuji, but I know you will have fun.  I can't wait to hear all about it and see all your pics and videos!  Cpl Humphreys was at the shower too.  I had never met him before.  He is getting married soon.  He said Gunny Somoza just left and is headed for 3 years in Hawaii.

Take care and be safe up there at Mt. Fuji!
